As a trained Martha Beck life coach, it is likely you have gained a new respect for how powerful and sometimes crippling our verbal perspective, our verbal "stories" about our lives, can be.
This was certainly a huge revelation for me. Early in life, I tried to projected confidence, but underneath that was a world of insecurity, pain, and frustration. In addition to going through a truly transformative coach training, I was lucky enough to have some extraordinary teachers in my life help me understand how my thoughts impact my energy.
Some of those teachers had two legs, but some of the best had four.
If you have spent any time around Martha Beck, chances are you have heard her talk about the power of working with animals, and the amazing ability horses have to help you understand and work with pure energy. The energy you broadcast to the world is sending messages to everyone around you, and you're constantly reacting to energy from others, whether you know it or not. Working with horses will help you know it--and use it skillfully.
During this 2 day experience, these loving, playful, mystical teachers with tails can help demystify your understanding of what it means to communicate, teach, and influence with your energy. You will have an opportunity to learn to:
• Make adjustments in your energy to help build up your business and attract new clients you'll love coaching.
• Recognize what clients are communicating with their energy, thus becoming a more intuitive and capable coach.
• Maintain healthy, compassionate, and clear boundaries with clients.
• Recognize and avoid getting tangled up in your clients' unhealthy stories and the energy that accompanies them.
• Build trust and lead your clients to new horizons by effectively using clear, powerful energy.

Workshop Information:
The 2 day workshop will begin at 9:00 am each morning and conclude at 4:30 pm each afternoon. All of the exercises and interactions with the horses will take place on the ground. There will not be any horse riding during the workshop. In the case of rainy weather, the round pen where we will be working is covered.
The facility has a small indoor office with a refrigerator and indoor bathroom for your needs as well.

What Do I Need to Bring/ Wear?
It is best to dress in jeans and comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. You may want to check the weather before your trip but it often gets a little chilly in the mornings and late afternoons so layers is best. A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen is a good idea since we will be outdoors for the majority of the day. Comfortable closed-toed shoes like tennis shoes or boots is also preferred. No open toed shoes!!!

Well you have been asking me for two years and it is finally here..... a course designed to teach Martha Beck Certified Life Coaches the skills to offer 1 on 1 Equus Coaching, thus adding a twist to treasure chest of helpful tools for coaches. Starting in February 2010, I will be offering the first Equus Coaching Course!
No previous horse experience is necessary.
During this 6 month course these are a few of the subjects you can expect to learn:
•A Foundation of equine psychology
•Basic equine husbandry and safe handling
•Advice and insights for setting up a partnership with an equine facility
•How to decipher and work along side your equine coach
•How to blend your life coaching tools with equus coaching
•Activities and exercises to help your clients transform their energetic communication
The course will begin with a 2 day hands-on practicum - Horsemanship 101, designed to help you get a leg up in understanding the equine world. This will be followed by several tele-classes geared to prepare you for setting up your equus coaching practice and prime your skills for working along side these amazing teachers. Following this you will attend another 3 day Equus Coaching practicum where you will begin to coach and be coached along side your equine partner. To receive your certificate of completion, you will be asked to submit a video recording of your work for final assessment and/or assist me with a scheduled workshop for final assessment.

** It is strongly preferred that you have received your certification in the Martha Beck Life Coach Training Program (see www.marthabeck.com) as a prerequisite for this course. Working with me, Martha Beck and horse-whisperer Koelle Simpson as well as some four-legged friends, you'll learn to use your personal power in a calm, intense, practical, irresistible ways that close the gap between dreaming dreams, and seeing them come true.
I felt myself becoming more effective and empowered from my very first "horse whispering" session—and I’d never even touched a horse. Since then, Koelle and I have spent years blending coaching theory and horse work. We’ve designed this workshop to give you an extraordinarily empowering experience, without any background in horse communication or riding (in fact, we’ll work partly with horses who are too young to ride).
So bring your hopes, a pair of comfortable shoes, and the desire to close the gap between wishing and doing. • A 50 % deposit must be made to hold your reservation.
• Full payment is due 30 days prior to the schedule event.
Cancellation PolicyDue to the costly non-refundable nature of reserving venues and lodging for various events, a cancellation made 30 days or less from the dates of an event is non-refundable. Fifty percent of the event fee will be refunded for a cancellation made between 60 to 31 days prior to a scheduled event. Any cancellation made 61 days prior to a schedule event is fully refundable minus any processing fees. Please note, that should you need to cancel every effort will be made to apply any non-refunded amount to a future event.
